artHAUS DEVELOPMENT CAPTURES THE ESSENCE OF URBAN LIVING IN MIDTOWN PHOENIX

In the heart of Midtown Phoenix, artHAUS, a unique concept in modern urban living is taking shape. The urban in-fill project, under construction at 1st Avenue and McDowell Road, is reviving a 25,751 square foot lot that has been vacant for more than 10 years. Created by artHAUS projects, formed by local architect and developer Jason Boyer, artHAUS features 25 modern and smartly designed dwellings, from three-story townhomes to single story flats.  In the midst of Midtown’s recent surge in progressive residential developments, artHAUS is an unexpected and affordable option, providing all the benefits of a progressive urban lifestyle that harmonizes with the neighboring Willow Historic District.  artHAUS should be ready for move in by May of 2016.

The name artHAUS might suggest that works of art are somehow incorporated into the project design, but Boyer contends the inception of his first development is about, “The Art of Living.”  According to Boyer, “The artHAUS brand resonates with buyers who appreciate architecture and design – people looking for a urban dwelling that matches their own elegant, simple, and compelling lifestyle choices. artHAUS was created for those who desire to live, work and play among the Midtown Phoenix Arts and Culture Community.”

artHAUS is within minutes of world-class museums and entertainment.  Residents can walk, bike, or ride to the celebrated Phoenix Art Museum, Arizona State University’s downtown campus, Burton Barr Library, more than 30 area coffee shops, fine dining and the McDowell and Central Avenue METRO light-rail station.

artHAUS appeals to indoor and outdoor living sensibilities with private outdoor balconies, community courtyards, and light-filled interior spaces shaped by clean lines and floor to ceiling glazing.  The designs incorporate technology and sustainable features to promote environmental health. artHAUS doesn’t include a lot of added amenities like exercise rooms and a community pool, in order to encourage residents to indulge in the Midtown experience. Boyer says an added benefit is that artHAUS delivers an attainable modern Midtown living experience without the expense of all those underutilized amenities.

The Velocity Group at Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living is marketing the project.  Units range in size from 560 to 1900 square feet. Contracts are now being taken on the remaining units between $240K and $497K.
