Colliers International in Greater Phoenix recently assisted the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the lease of a 29,312-square foot, Class B medical office in the Camelback Medical Plaza in Phoenix.
The Phoenix VA leased the property, located at 5040 N. 15th Avenue, from CHP Camelback Medical LLC/Elevation Companies of Denver.
Colliers International Associate Vice President Matt Fitz-Gerald served as consultant for the landlord. Colliers colleagues Michael Dupuy and Fletcher Perry, associate vice presidents, and Sean Westfall, associate, represented the landlord. Marc Holmes and Tom Foster of CHP Camelback Medical, LLC/Elevation Companies, LLC led the effort for the building ownership group.
“The space, when fully operational, is expected to provide primary care, mental health and ancillary services—phlebotomy, nutrition, pharmacy and social work—to some 15,600 veterans,” said VA spokesperson Jean Schaefer.
The lead designer for the new space is triARC Architecture & Design.
Establishing clinical space at Camelback Medical Plaza, built in 1981 and remodelled in 2014, addresses an identified space deficiency at the Carl T. Hayden VAMC on Indian School Road.
“We are excited about the opportunity to provide the VA with this new space to care for our veterans. This has been a rewarding experience to work with the VA’s contract coordinator Ashley Velasquez in securing new clinic space for veterans,” said Foster, Manager, with CHP Camelback Medical, LLC/Elevation Companies, LLC
