Greenlight Communities Taps Major National Firm To Manage Newly Opening Scottsdale Property

Greenlight Communities has selected RangeWater, a leading national multifamily management and real estate company, to provide property management services for its newest property, Cabana Hayden.

The company has recently begun leasing at Cabana Hayden, located at 2240 N. Hayden Road, with 89 units now available for potential residents. The property will open to new residents to move in on March 10, 2021.

Founded in 2006, privately owned RangeWater Real Estate has over a decade of expertise in acquiring, developing, managing, and investing in multifamily communities across the Southeastern and Southwestern United States. The company is a leader in raising and managing funds for direct investment in real estate, with a portfolio that has developed and acquired an excess of $5 billion in assets.

Cabana communities provide brand-new living spaces with modern designs and desired amenities – all at attractive, attainable rental prices. Cabana Hayden offers studio, one and two bedrooms with rents starting at $999 per month. The property features several inviting amenities, including desirable appliances and kitchen finishes, luxury vinyl tile and LittleBird smart technology.

Greenlight Communities is the first company to innovatively focus solely on building “attainable” housing to fill the void between affordable and luxury apartments, using their leading-edge business and development model to create a one-of-a-kind housing alternative for middle-class residents working in fields such as teaching, healthcare and public safety.

“We are pleased to partner with RangeWater to make our vision for Cabana Hayden a reality for so many deserving Scottsdale residents,” said Patricia Watts, principal at Greenlight Communities. “At Greenlight Communities, we have a passion for creating projects that offer a real opportunity for individuals and families to enjoy a comfortable, attainable living environment, and Cabana Hayden will be part of fulfilling our mission. RangeWater’s work will ensure those residents fully enjoy their new homes.”

Tracy Bowers, Executive Managing Director of Property Management at RangeWater, said the opportunity to work with Greenlight Communities to market a property catering to working professionals and families is welcome for the organization.

“RangeWater is pleased to bring our extensive expertise to bear at Cabana Hayden and to help working families enjoy a new option for multifamily living,” Tracy Bowers said. “We are confident that our professionals will play a key role in enhancing the resident experience at this exciting property.”

Greenlight’s Cabana Hayden is a joint venture between Greenlight and Holualoa Companies.

Greenlight is currently in the process of building more than 3,000 new Cabana units in the Phoenix metro area and beyond. The Cabana Hayden property is one of seven new-build Cabana projects announced to date and will make use of Greenlight’s innovative approach and industry-changing designs to create communities with reasonable rent rates.

“There’s a significant need for just the kind of multifamily housing options that Cabana Hayden and its fellow Cabana properties will provide,” said Dan Richards, principal at Greenlight Communities.  “We are excited to open Cabana Hayden and look forward to having the first residents move in during the coming weeks.”

Greenlight Communities’ first two new-build communities are complete and currently leasing. Cabana on 12th, located at 4225 N. 12th Street in Phoenix, offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units. Cabana on Washington, located at 5300 E. Washington Street in Phoenix, also offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units. Greenlight Communities has projects under construction and in the development pipeline in additional cities as well, including Scottsdale, Goodyear, Glendale and Mesa.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, residents can take virtual tours and talk to leasing representatives online via the apartment communities’ websites and virtual leasing portals. Residents are also welcome to visit the sites for in-person tours during business hours.
