Documents were signed today for the purchase of Hayden Station by Mill Avenue Office, L.L.C., a commercial real estate entity owned by Bob Parsons. The mixed-use space, which was 97 percent leased at the time of the sale, is home to notable tenants The Tavern on Mill, Pop Health Man, Logan Simpson Design, NCounter, Mojo Yogurt, Moonshine Whiskey Bar and Downtown Tempe Community, Inc.
Built in 1986, Hayden Station is a five-building mixed-use office and retail property encompassing 107,508 square feet. Uniquely positioned at the heart of a highly-desirable urban infill location in downtown Tempe, steps away from Valley Metro Light Rail, Hayden Station is an attractive location for entrepreneurial businesses.
With more than 30,000 employees, Downtown Tempe is the business and employment hub of Metro Phoenix’s Southeast Valley and the location of choice for companies seeking access to a highly educated workforce, residential communities, amenities and transportation. With demand for quality office space in Downtown Tempe vastly exceeding supply, very low vacancy and strong rental rate growth is projected for the area.
Including the Hayden Station acquisition, Parsons now owns more than 760,000 square feet of gross leasable space throughout the greater Phoenix area. Properties include Centerpoint on Mill, Tempe Town Center, Arrowhead Professional Center, Il Palazzo Center, Citadelle Center, The Shoppes at Legacy House, Grayhawk Plaza and McDowell Mountain Marketplace.
