LGE Design Build today announced the groundbreaking of a new manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters for Galco International, an industry leader noted for its high quality and innovative holster designs, has called Phoenix its corporate home since 1980.
The new headquarters, a 21,935 square foot facility located at 2025 W. Quail Ave. in Phoenix, replaces the company’s existing headquarters next door at 2019 W. Quail Ave. The new facility is the third LGE has built for Galco.
Galco products are used by law enforcement agencies across the United States and around the world, from police departments to the largest federal agencies. The company’s products are also a favorite of Hollywood, appearing in more TV series and movies than any other holster maker.
David E. Sellers, president of LGE Design Build, said working with Galco was right in LGE’s comfort zone. “The Galco project was right in our wheelhouse,” he said. “Industrial and manufacturing facilities like theirs have been our bread and butter for a long time, and we were able to use that experience to help them achieve an aggressive timeline for completion of the project as well as maintaining a very tight budget.”
