Mutual of Omaha Bank Purchases Tempe Building for National Client Services Center

Mutual of Omaha Bank has purchased a 73,377 square foot, three-story office building in Tempe, Ariz., that will house its national client services center and several business groups, the company announced.

Located in the Cotton Corporate Center at 4950 S. 48th St., the class A building will serve as Mutual of Omaha Bank’s national client services center, including its customer service and information services groups. The facility also will house the bank’s community association banking and treasury management services business groups, which serve businesses across the country.

Built in 2008, the building has been awarded a LEED-certified green building designation by the U.S. Green Building Council. Mutual of Omaha Bank has plans to occupy the facility beginning in January 2014.

“Mutual of Omaha Bank has a strong commitment to Arizona and this new facility represents a significant investment in our community,” said Kevin Halloran, Arizona State President for Mutual of Omaha Bank. “The building will be a great addition to our network of 10 bank locations throughout Phoenix and Tucson, and will enhance our ability to serve individuals and businesses, both locally and nationally, with full-service banking solutions.”

The new office building will replace Mutual of Omaha Bank’s current client services center located at 1665 West Alameda Dr. in Tempe. The staff from the current location will relocate to the new building.
