VanTrust Real Estate Hires Phoenix Commercial Construction Veteran Cindy Olsen to Lead Development Services

VanTrust Real Estate, a full-service, national real estate development company, announced the addition of 30-year commercial construction veteran, Cindy Olsen, as Senior Director, Development Services. Olsen works alongside Joel Wage, Vice President of Development Services, to lead all aspects of development for VanTrust’s Phoenix Team.

With a background in architecture, construction, and land development, Olsen brings diverse experience to the firm. Her decades of experience have been spent leading design and construction teams for notable general contractors and vertically integrated design-build firms; including, Opus West and Ryan Companies, where she successfully delivered remarkable projects throughout the Southwest.

Throughout Olsen’s career, she has remained devoted to integrity and continues to build collaborative teams to elevate the client experience, benefit the community, and contribute to the overall good of the company. Her vast construction knowledge encompasses all project phases, including entitlements, design, pre-construction, and construction.

Some of her most noteworthy projects include leading the construction of a high-end condominium project in Pleasant Hill, CA, a historical renovation of Hotel Monroe in Phoenix, the GoDaddy Technology Center in Tempe, the high-profile ‘Promenade at Natomas’ site package in Sacramento, and the 750,000-square-foot build-to-suit Fresh and Easy Distribution Center in Stockton, CA.

Olsen is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management and was recognized for her work with an AZRE RED Award for Best Office Development of the Year for the GoDaddy Tech Center build-to-suit project.
