ViaWest Signs Multiple Leases at “ConneXion” in ASU Research Park

ViaWest Group recently signed 21,704 square feet of leases at ConneXion, a recently modernized multi-tenant building in the ASU Research Park.  Intersil Corp, ChannelCode, Quantenna, Mareel Slater Insurance, and NextNet Partners signed a combination of new, renewal, and expansion leases bringing the project to 92% occupancy. ConneXion @ ASU Research Park (previously referred to as Transamerica Research Center) is a 50,000 square foot multi-tenant office building located at 7855 S. River Parkway, Tempe, Arizona near the Loop 101 and Elliot Road.


“After purchasing in January 2015, we assembled a top-notch team of architects, contractors, and brokers to rebrand and transform the tired outdated building.  We’re always pleased when the vision and improvements are well-received by prospective tenants and brokers in the market,” said C.E. Kaiser of ViaWest.    Gregg Kafka of Lee & Associates added, “The ConneXion building is one of only a few true multi-tenant buildings in ASU Research Park.   Its proximity to the Loop 101, lakefront views, and high-end image make the project a highly desired option for tenants looking for space in the southeast valley.


The brokers involved in these transactions include, Gregg Kafka and Michael Marsh with Lee & Associates, Kathy Foster with Colliers, and Steve Berghoff with the Menlo Group.


Andrew Cheney, Craig Coppola, Gregg Kafka and Michael Marsh of Lee & Associates Phoenix office represent the landlord and are currently marketing the remaining vacancy consisting of 7,141 SF.


ASU Research Park is home to a number of corporate headquarters and R&D facilities providing a corporate and technology hub for southeast Phoenix. The park is currently home to approximately 50 companies, including Amazon, GoDaddy, ASML, Avnet, Edward Jones, Walgreens, and Iridium Satellite.
